KLINGMAN COURT POOL
Indoor-Outdoor Wellness Expansion with Future Flexibility
Skie Architecture Studio was engaged to design an in-ground Endless Pool addition for an existing single-family home—enhancing wellness, recreation, and year-round usability. The goal was to integrate the pool seamlessly into the flow of the home while preserving flexibility for future development.
The pool was strategically placed to connect directly to the main living space, creating a strong visual and functional link between indoor and outdoor environments. Large doors and circulation pathways were carefully considered to encourage easy access, making the pool an extension of daily living rather than a separate amenity.
While the project was completed as an open-air installation, the structural design anticipated a future enclosure. Footings, clearances, and spatial planning were all coordinated to allow for a potential future roof or cover structure—offering the homeowners the option to enclose the pool area for year-round use without significant modifications.
This thoughtful, phased approach delivers immediate benefits while keeping future expansion in mind, blending practical design with long-term vision.
