the Villages at Garrison Creek - Backflow Preventer Structure

This project involved the expedited design and permitting of a structure to house a neighborhood backflow preventer—an essential piece of infrastructure ensuring water system integrity. Given the time-sensitive nature of the project, our team worked efficiently to streamline the process within our office, from initial concept through to permit approval.

Multiple design options were developed and reviewed in close collaboration with stakeholders. The selected solution balanced aesthetics, constructability, and cost-effectiveness, allowing for a fast construction timeline while staying within budget.

To ensure the structure integrates seamlessly with its surroundings, a landscaping plan was included in the final design. Once mature, the plantings will effectively screen the enclosure, minimizing its visual impact and blending it into the neighborhood context.
